The stars were sent "flying" to the ground - fortunately nobody was injured.

  2. The US premiere of the soap opera THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL was on March 23, 1987.

  3. Kabir's wife Nikki had a small part in the TV mini-series NOI SIAMO ANGELI (1996).

  4. Much of Kabir's movie ASHANTI (1979) was shot in the Sinai.

  5. Terence Hill plays the lead in a 1971 IL CORSARO NERO movie.
His character is called "Blackie" - it's a comedy action movie - and, of course, his buddy Bud Spencer is in it, too...

  6. Kabir's second wife Susan Humphries designed Kabir's Succubus outfit for his movie DEMON RAGE (1981).

  7. Director Clive Donner chose Kabir for his movie THIEF OF BAGHDAD (1978) because "he looks like a real prince".

  8. To celebrate the show's 10th anniversary and the huge audience in Italy where it's called simply BEAUTIFUL, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL went to Lake Como, Italy in 1997 for a big foreign location shoot.

  9. ASHANTI (1979) is based on the novel Evano by Alberto Vasques-Figueroa.

  10. In an earlier film version of Kabir's TV-mini-series I MISTERI DELLA GIUNGLA NERA (1990) Peter van Eyck is starring in the lead role, Ivan Desny also stars.
Luigi Capuano directed the German-Italian co-production in 1964.

  11. Multi-talented Meera Syal of ANITA AND ME (2001) fame wanted to be a mermaid in her childhood.
She only gave up practising in bath holding her breath when she realised she would never grow a fishtail!
