• Dil Aashna Hai is Hema
Malini's directorial debut film. • Hema Malini is
widely known as "the Dream Girl".
•
Hema Malini was born on October 16,
1948 in Ammankudi, Tamil Nadu, India.
• Hema Malini performed as a dancer in a 1965 regional
Tamil movie and - after being told by a Tamil director that she had no star appeal
- debuted 1968 as an actress opposite Raj Kapoor in Sapnon Ka
Saudagar.
• Hema Malini married film star Dharmendra in
1980 and is the mother of first-born Esha Deol, actress, and
Ahana.
• Hema Malini is a member of the right-winged Bharatiya
Janata Party, and became a member of the Rajya Sabha, the Upper House of the
Indian Parliament.
• Shahrukh
Khan's birthday is on November 2 (1965, New
Delhi). • Raza Murad appeared with Kabir in
three other films apart from Dil Aashna Hai: KANOON
KA SHIKAR (1979), AATANK
HI AATANK (1995) and DAKU
AUR MAHATMA (1977).
• Divya Bharati was born on February
25, 1974 and died of an accident (fall from a building),
only 19 years old, on April 5, 1993 - when KSHATRYA was running in the cinemas.
• In May 1992 Divya Bharati had married secretly.
• Divya Bharati plays cabaret dancer Laila in Dil Aashna
Hai
and
also
starred
alongside Kabir in KSHATRYA (1993). |
