MUSIC: Rajesh
Roshan
LYRICS: Neelesh Misra
SINGERS: Hrithik Roshan, Suzie Q.
Suzie Q. has vocally trained Hrithik Roshan for a Spanish song he
is singing with her in Kites, and also for an English song.
Suzie Q. on Hrithik Roshan:
- "It was a challenge for Hrithik to have to sing an English
song. And the great thing is that normally someone else would have
started with a pop song but Hrithik started with Jazz standards like
Michael Bublé. We did quite a few sessions and Hrithik has
a range of three octaves which not many can boast of. He has a great
voice and if he works hard, he can put a lot of singers to shame." |

| SUMMARY |
|
-
"The film, a romantic thriller, is about an Indian boy who
falls in love with a Mexican," explains
director Anurag Basu.
Hrithik
Roshan's character is together with an Indian
woman (Kangana Ranaut) but he also gets involved with a hot salsa
dancer
(Barbara Mori). However, they don't speak each other's language.
Like those kites which are immensely popular in India,
Hrithik moves carefree and nimble-footed between the
two women. But how long will it last?
Kites has a lot of dancing scenes, different
from the usual Bollywood
movie. Rumour has it that main lead Hrithik Roshan will be seen
in some steamy love scenes - making headlines even before shooting
of the movie has started. |

part |
|
June
18, 2008: Kabir in a major role, playing Bob, the owner of a
Las Vegas casino with
two adult children whose somewhat complicated love life is the
theme of this romantic comedy. Kabir says the film, with the
working title Kites, is complex and sensitive, and quite different
from the usual hackneyed Bollywood fare. |
