| SUMMARY |
|
Amitabh
Bachchan plays Colonel Balbir Singh Sodhi, who is hot on the
trail of a corrupt minister, Vir Bhadra Singh (Danny Denzongpa).
After surviving several assassination attempts by the Colonel,
both the minister and the army believe him to be dead.
But several years later, Brigadier Bedi (Kabir) runs into a
man who bears an uncanny resemblance to Balbir Singh.
Brigadier Bedi assigns Major Ajit Arya (Nana Patekar) to track
down the suspect, but the tables are turned on Balbir Singh
as Arya discovers the truth about the politician and his nemesis. |

1998 - A 6-day filming schedule starts today.
Action and dramatic scenes are shot at several locations
in Bombay, at SNDT College, Jeevan Mills and on Madh
Island, in Northern Bombay.
»June 11,
1999 -
Kabir has been signed to play the role of a brigadier in
Kohram.
»July 10, 1999 -
Amitabh Bachchan, Nana Patekar and Danny Denzongpa attended
the party for the music release of Kohram. Director Mehul
Kumar said: "...There is an exciting constant tug-of-war
and one-upmanship throughout the film between Amitji and
Nana, but off screen they shared a friendly rapport." He
added that Kohram is scheduled to release on Independence
Day.
