• Indian director Raj
Khosla made about 30 movies, he was born
in 1925 and died in 1991 in Mumbai. • Kabir
Bedi is
listed as third star of the cast.
• Vinod Khanna is
the father of actor Akshay Khanna.
• Vinod Khanna and Kabir
appeared together in NAGIN (1976)
and in KSHATRIYA (1993), HULCHUL (1971)
and KRANTI (2002).
• Nirupa Roy was 42 years old when she
played Lakhan's mother opposite 27-year-old Vinod Khanna
as 'son' in Khuchhe Dhaage, she made her first movie in 1946.
• Tun Tun appeared with Kabir
in many other films apart from Kuchche
Dhaage, including KANOON
KA SHIKAR (1979), MAA
BAHEN AUR BIWI (1973), HULCHUL (1971)
and NAGIN (1976).
• Tun Tun's real name was Uma Devi Khatri.
• Tun Tun was a famous and much-beloved comedienne and
singer. She died at the age of 75 in Mumbai on November 24, 2003.
• Tun Tun came to Mumbai to become a singer and recorded
her first screen song in 1947.
• Naushad, one of India's most famous film music composers, discovered Tun
Tun. Together with director A.R. Kadar, they became a regular movie
hit factory.
Naushad also composed the music for Kabir's film TAJ
MAHAL.AN ETERNAL LOVE STORY (2005).
• Composer Naushad also recognised the singer's talent for comedy timing,
and produced the first movie with Tun Tun in a comic role in 1950.
• Big-eyed comedienne Tun Tun played in over 100 films. |
