Kabir has been
signed for a lead role in an Indo-Canadian co-production,
of which 90 percent will be filmed in
Canada, Indiafm and Screenindia reported.
The film is the first joint venture of Indian company
Malhotra Productions and Canada's Elegant Films Ltd,
and will be produced by Niliesh (Nileish) Malhotra,
Jatinder Minhas, Ramesh Mehta and Manjeet Bhatt.
Co-producer Malhotra will also direct the film, which
so far has not been given a working title.

- Will Kabir collect £200?
Nileish Malhotra told EyeTV India that Monopoly is a
fast-moving romantic thriller filmed in a new style.
The film is about deceit and competition, and should
appeal to an international audience because of its slick
appearance.
Some of Kabir's Indian
and Canadian co-stars were signed on in recent months,
including Vivek Shauq.
The film is scheduled to be released in 2007.
The (working-) title of the film was changed to Monopoly.The
Game of Money.
Kabir will
be shooting for both Monopoly and his forthcoming
Italian project UN MEDICO IN FAMIGLIA in Autumn 2006.

Kabir confirmed he will be shooting for the lead part
in the romantic thriller Monopoly.The Game of Money this
autumn, although it will have to be done during the breaks
in his work for Italian TV series Un Medico in famiglia.
- "I had signed for it but I had told them to complete
the shooting before the end of August, which is unlikely
to happen," Kabir told www.kabir-bedi.com.
He said his work on the Canadian/Italian co-production
will now have to be wrapped round Medico, where he will
have two shooting breaks during the six-month period
the series is made.
- "It's a very complicated story," Kabir said
about the new thriller Monopoly, without going into further
detail.
