Kabir's
forthcoming book about his life - we're not supposed to call it
an autobiography as there are too many others involved in it - has
been taking the limelight in recent interviews.
Kabir
says the book will be completed in about six months' time, if he
can keep up a steady writing pace.
It is not his first publication; some time ago, Kabir has already
published successfully a moving short story about his children.
Daughter Pooja wrote several books, including a successful memoir
of her late mother, world-famous Odissi dancer Protima Bedi, Kabir's
first wife.
Kabir told an interviewer in India that he got the idea to write
a book himself when he realised "that most fans in places like
Germany and Italy didn't know anything" about him.
"They were misinformed...
I thought I should let my fans know the truth."
